Our Statement of Faith

We are committed to the Word of God and the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our statement of faith reflects the foundation of our ministry and what we believe as we serve communities around the world in Jesus’ name.

The Bible

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:15–17)

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, authoritative Word of God. The 66 books comprising the Old and New Testaments are inerrant and constitute the believer’s final authority for faith and practice.

The Trinity

“Therefore go and make disciples… baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:19)

We believe there is one true and living God, eternally existent in three Persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — co-equal and co-eternal, yet each distinct.

God the Father

“I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless.” (Genesis 17:1)

We believe God the Father is an infinite and perfect Spirit, the Creator and Sustainer of all things.

Jesus Christ

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.” (John 1:14)

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ:

  • His virgin birth

  • His sinless life and miracles

  • His atoning death through His shed blood

  • His bodily resurrection and ascension

  • His return in power and glory

  • His present ministry as our Advocate and Great High Priest

The Holy Spirit

“But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things…” (John 14:26)

We believe the Holy Spirit is a Person, equal in essence to the Father and Son. He convicts the world of sin, regenerates believers, empowers them to live godly lives, gives spiritual gifts, and seals them until the day of redemption.

Humanity & Sin

“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)

We believe mankind was created in the image of God but fell through sin. As a result, all people are sinners by nature and choice, deserving of God’s judgment and separated from Him.

Salvation

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith…” (Ephesians 2:8–9)

We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Repentance and faith bring regeneration by the Holy Spirit. Salvation is not earned by works but is God’s free gift offered to all through Christ.

Resurrection & Eternal Destiny

“And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” (Matthew 25:46)

We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost:

  • The saved to eternal life with God

  • The lost to eternal separation and punishment

Sanctification

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” (2 Peter 3:18)

We believe in sanctification as the process of being set apart for God:

  • Positional: at the moment of salvation

  • Practical: daily growth in holiness

  • Perfected: completed when we are with Christ forever

The Church

“And He is the head of the body, the church…” (Colossians 1:18)

We believe the Church is God’s institution for this age. Christ is the Head, and the Word of God is its authority. The local church is made up of baptized believers who gather for worship, fellowship, service, discipleship, and evangelism.

The Evangelism

You will be my witnesses… to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)

We believe every Christian is called to share the good news of Jesus Christ, making disciples of all nations.
