AID

Aid begins when we first see a person or community in need, and when the need is most evident. Good nutrition, clean water, and basic health care all accompany our goal of sharing the message of Christ with those who’ve never before heard the good news. This is AID. This is where our ministry begins.

The Good News of Jesus

While it is not always a felt need, the most basic need of any human being is hope of lasting and eternal life. It is our belief that he has an eternal heaven waiting for us beyond this world, he also intends to be fully alive in us, today’s believers! Through evangelistic campaigns and Bible teaching on the most basic levels in Mentor Leaders Academy, we work with you, our sponsors, our missionaries, to bring the good news of life in Jesus to the communities we serve. Mentor Leaders is also committed to the prospect of serving alongside local churches and pastors in their endeavors to spread the gospel in their respective communities

Health and Nutrition

Some of our most underserved communities are still in need of daily nutrition and health monitoring. For our Mentor Leaders Academy students, we provide a nutrition program (year-round in some cases) that feeds at approximately 389 students daily. Additionally, we provide vitamin supplements in areas where malnutrition is a serious threat. We also conduct child connect activities through which we also monitor children’s growth, and send occasional medical mission teams to meet more serious needs among our students and the community at large. A medical team sent to Haiti in 2018 provided aid to over 1,100 patients! Togo’s campus now boasts a new medical clinic within its own beautiful building, two hospital beds for inpatient care, as well as a laboratory. Mentor Leaders is currently developing staff so that the clinic can be open weekly and year-round!

Clean Water

Many of us in western and northern countries take for granted our daily and almost limitless supply of clean drinking water. A lack of clean water is the source of shorter life-spans and much disease in many impoverished countries. This is no longer the case in the communities we serve. In Togo, Mentor Leaders provides access to two clean water wells for our students, their families and others in the community as well. In April of 2018, we built a water filtration system at our mission site in El Monzon, El Salvador that provides clean water access to many in the surrounding area. The system is certified with the Ministry of Public Health.

Together let’s change the life of someone across the globe. 100% of public donations go directly to Mentor Leaders’ projects. All donations are tax deductible.
