Standing on the streets of Athens Greece during the 2004 Summer Olympics, watching people from all over the world, my heart beat with a passion to see so many of them in need. From the wealthiest person striving to buy happiness to the poorest person in search of his next meal, I discovered unhappiness is on every level. My ultimate goal in life is to bring love to the hurting and needy through the mission of Mentor Leaders. A wise man once said, “Where there is love, there is life.”

I was drawn to Mentor Leaders because of the passion that they have to reach out to the youth of our nation. Most people accept Christ before the age of 24 and many adults are lost today because nobody invited them to know Christ when they were young adults. Mentor Leaders seeks to change that trend. I desire to see the Body of Christ step up and expose our youth to the life that we’ve been given through Christ Jesus and to help them develop godly character. My wife, Janet, and I serve as mentors to troubled adults in our church and we are thrilled to also be involved with a ministry that reaches young people before they get to that point. My role as financial accountant of Mentor Leaders allows me to use my skills in administration and accounting to help turn the tide of this generation and further the Kingdom.

Ever since I was a little kid I've always had a passion for people and helping them. Driving down a street and seeing people in desperate need for help or turning on the news and seeing parents unable to provide for their children has always made my passion for helping others grow stronger. I never knew how i, just one person, could make a difference for all these lives. Mentor Leaders is that opportunity that has allowed me to help make a difference. It is now my goal to help give others what they can't give themselves, a better looking tomorrow.

Greetings! My name is Mazama. I was born and raised, for the first five
years of my life at least, in a town named Kpalime. It is located in the
southern part of Togo, West Africa. When I was Five years old, I moved to a
small town in North of Togo named Kara. Being Togolese, and being raised by my father, I have learned much about the people of Africa. My Father
taught me about African culture and how many Togolese desire to flee this
poor country and travel to Europe or America in search of a better life.
However, far too many Togolese fail to escape this country and live lives
of poverty, deceit, begging, or theft. They do this because they are
desperate to survive and hope that their actions will somehow give them a
better tomorrow. My vision is to help African people, MY people, to change
their narrow outlook on life by introducing them to my savior Jesus!

God has led me by His great hands to a deep friendship with David. It was
shortly after meeting David that I lost my father. After this deep,
personal tragedy I began to ask myself what my ultimate purpose was. I had
talked with David many times about my vision for the people of Togo and In
2007 I knew I wanted to serve my country along side of Mentor Leaders.
