Founder

My desire to start Mentor Leaders was born out of a passion that I have to reach out to the youth of our nation. During the 2004 summer Olympics, as I stood on the bustling streets of Athens Greece, I saw people from all over the world with deep needs, and my heart started to beat with a passion to meet those needs. I discovered that there is unhappiness on every level of society, from the wealthiest person who is striving to buy happiness, to the poorest person who is in search of his next meal. My ultimate goal in life is to bring love to the hurting and help to the needy through Mentor Leaders. A wise man once said, “Where there is love, there is life.”

Financial Administrator

I came on board with Mentor Leaders because I share David’s passion to reach out to America’s young people. Most Christians accepted Christ before they were 24 years of age and so many adults are lost today because nobody shared the love of Christ with them when they were young adults. Mentor Leaders is seeking to change that trend. I desire to see the Body of Christ step up and expose our nation’s youth to the new life that we’ve been given through Jesus Christ, and to help them develop godly character. My wife Janet, and I, serve as mentors to troubled adults in our church, and we are thrilled to also be involved in a ministry that reaches young people before they travel that path. My role as financial accountant at Mentor Leaders allows me to use my skills in administration and accounting to help turn the tide of this generation and further God’s Kingdom.

The Media Guy

Ever since I was a little kid I’ve always had a passion for people and helping them. Driving down a street and seeing people in desperate need for help or turning on the news and seeing parents unable to provide for their children has always made my passion for helping others grow stronger. I never knew how i, just one person, could make a difference for all these lives. Mentor Leaders is that opportunity that has allowed me to help make a difference. It is now my goal to help give others what they can’t give themselves, a better looking tomorrow.

mazama pomkossi

West Africa Program Director

Greetings! My name is Mazama. I was born and raised, for the first five years of my life at least, in a town named Kpalime. It is located in the southern part of Togo, West Africa. When I was Five years old, I moved to a small town in North of Togo named Kara. Being Togolese, and being raised by my father, I have learned much about the people of Africa. My Father taught me about African culture and how many Togolese desire to flee this poor country and travel to Europe or America in search of a better life. However, far too many Togolese fail to escape this country and live lives of poverty, deceit, begging, or theft. They do this because they are desperate to survive and hope that their actions will somehow give them a better tomorrow. My vision is to help African people, MY people, to change their narrow outlook on life by introducing them to my savior Jesus!

God has led me by His great hands to a deep friendship with David. It was shortly after meeting David that I lost my father. After this deep, personal tragedy I began to ask myself what my ultimate purpose was. I had talked with David many times about my vision for the people of Togo and In 2007 I knew I wanted to serve my country along side of Mentor Leaders.

Hello friends! We are the Dublins. I am a professional sign language interpreter and my wife, is a misdemeanor probation officer. In July of 2010 we took a trip to Togo, West Africa with Mentor Leaders. While on the trip, we saw firsthand the global crisis that is currently taking the lives of millions. The most essential of needs, such as, clean water, food, sanitation, and medical supplies, are not being met. For this reason, my wife and I have decided to work alongside Mentor Leaders on a full-time basis to help meet the needs of people internationally. Our desire is that through our actions, they will come to realize the unconditional love and eternal hope of Jesus Christ.

Director Child Sponsorship Program

I have always had a heart for helping people and recently I have felt a deep calling to fulfill the purpose for which I was placed on this earth and to meet the needs of those less fortunate than myself. When Mentor Leaders came into my life I couldn’t think of a better organization to work alongside.

Medical Division

In the summer of 2011, I was blessed to be able to go to Gbentchal, a forgotten village in the northern most part of Togo, West Africa. I saw some of the worst living conditions imaginable. No clean water, sanitation, medical care or food. Their only water source contaminated with human and animal feces. The average age of death in the village is age 30. A passion began to burn in my heart and I wanted to help these people that didn’t have anyone to help them. I talked with David about this and am excited to now be the medical director. I realize there are many more places like Gbentchal, both here in America and throughout the world. It is my hope and desire that I will be able to help the poor, orphans and widows by showing them love through my actions.
